I arrived home to bills, mostly, which was more depressing than surprising. I’ve got enough in the bank to cover them.
On a brighter note, Rupert the spaniel is coming to spend the day with me.
On the other hand, I’ve a meeting that will take up much of the morning.
In other news, I drank a whole bottle of red wine. It’s Roses’ fault: I asked her to remove it from my grasp.
I’m going to bed now.
Tomorrow, I will pay the bills.
In other news, the grass has been cut.
Oh, and with the bills was news of a savings account that Weeza didn’t know she had. Yay!!
It appears to be bill season; I have just renewed my car insurance and the house contents insurance and the 15/16 council tax bill arrived last week. Having just bought a new carpet, I am not looking forward to my credit card bill next week. On the upside, I did manage to negotiate my car insurance premium down last week and today I have changed our gas and electricity tariff to one that should save a teeny bit of money. Every little helps!
Sorry about that, but bed was calling me very loudly…and I had a lie in as well.
With the busy life you lead – and especially so recently, I reckon you deserved that bottle of wine.
A whole bottle though! Nothing tonight.
Today, a tax demand regarding Russell and I remembered th water rates. £5,000 now, wondering what will come in tomorrow’s post.
